In this episode, Ben White, the founder of Crafty Counsel talks to Emma Norman, Senior Legal Counsel at Invesco, an asset management company. Emma spent 8 years at Freshfields and worked in restructuring and insolvency at the firm before she joined the in-house legal team at Invesco.
In her spare time, Emma is a trustee for the Luminary Bakery, which is a charity and social enterprise in London that offers support and training, creates community and provides employment opportunities for women who have experienced social and economic disadvantage.
Among other things Ben talks to Emma about her career journey, the highlights and challenges of working in-house, taking on in-house trainees at Invesco and using her skills to assist a charitable organisation.
